I just wanted to remark that the picture used by the BBC is not really &quot;yellow scare&quot; art, but actually a North Korean propaganda poster. I remember seeing it on the official page of North Korea a few years ago. At this time, I can only find a thumbnail version there: http://www.korea-dpr.com/users/jisge/
