Hrm, it is not clear to me why it was cancelled or why O’Reilly is also closing down their ETech website. I must have missed the backstory on this and a Google blog search turns up a lot of noise but not much signal.

There is an attempt to get EComm going by some of the Program Committee from ETel. They’ve been emailing speakers with accepted talks asking if we’d come. Interesting to see if it converges.
