⇒ My Flickr API library for PHP.I’m a big believer in Norvig’s “Code is liability” maxim. Which is how I justify my ugly, but functional Flickr API implementation, in 40 lines of PHP (not the most expressive of languages), which I wrote in about 15 minutes one evening, and I now use for all of my Flickr side projects. And all apropos of digging through other folks Flickr API impls, trying to get them working on GAE. Thankfully blech is already there.

Jasmine introduced me to the work of Korean artist Kwang-Young Chun who sculpts textured swooping surfaces that veer between shaggy and organic, to austere moonscapes out of bits of hand dyed, inked, and folded paper. Gorgeous stuff.

Wondering if I should add my early ‘99 recollections of Alley parties, getting backed into a corner by painfully geeky HotJobs nerds (HotJobs used to have real live nerds working for them!) who wanted to convince me that BSD was the one true TCP/IP stack, and escaping to the roof only to find Spring Streeters doing lines of coke over Bryant Park. Something tells me that isn’t what Fred is looking for.
