Someone (Stacey) went to the heroic effort of transcoding 1,000 Places To See Before You Die into a list on the Robot’s new LoB site.
Interestingly, Rabble, Case, and I all are the same percent complete, 9%.
Well I thought it was interesting.

Etel started this morning, so if this the first you’re hearing of it, you’re too late to check the RAGI: Ruby on Rails with Asterisk talk, but not too late to check Evan and Blaine’s Phone Communities and Activism Showcase (you might have seen the preview at Foocamp), or Tad’s Speakeasy: Using Open Source to Overcome Barriers and Promote Community Development in an Immigrant Neighborhood. Conveniently they’re back to back Thursday afternoon.

Todd’s new band Lucy Bland has their first CD out. I haven’t heard the CD, but the early cuts I heard of these songs are absolutely killer. (Streaker is definitely one of my favorite songs right now)

Linda and Brian, were joined by Owen this weekend, their baby boy
Brian and I are doing great – even getting some sleep here and there. He’s a calm baby, w/ big blue eyes…
Calm for now, but we all know he’ll be hell raiser with such a cool mama, though he did just miss begin born on May 1st.
Meanwhile, Mapping Hacks, Schuyler and Jo’s book for which we’ve also all been waiting at least 9 months, hit Safari this morning. (in bookstores this June)

Evan’s shiny new Rails app, Odeo is has been announced. Looks like they weren’t quite ready to open the flood gates, but probably sometime today. Record audio over the phone or directly on the website, tag it, and collect found audio into channels for syncing. And its a non-todo list app for Rails.
