After many many years of waiting a playable version (0.6) of Pingus is finally available! Pingus is clone of the brilliant classic Lemmings that is one of my favorite games of all time, as well as one of my favorite metaphors for conceptualizing life (or so it seems as 2am). When one day Lemmings stopped working on my Powerbook 100 (I think when I upgraded it to OS 7.5.x) I mourned. And its been a long, dry spell since then. Pingus currently only ships with 22 tutorial levels, but they give you a good sense of the game play, and they’re gorgeous.(I wonder if there is a way to get that cloud effect on my desktop? Or in an Eterm?) I highly reccomend it.
