Continuing the theme of “should have blogged weeks ago”, Jeff’s new project CommonBits is live.

CommonBits is a directory of progressive media, built through user submissions. This is really the promise of BitTorrent, the ability for a different communities to build their own, alternative libraries without the massive resources of the commercial media (or even a project like Indymedia). Targeted, and relevant, with the cost of growth mitigated by the community of users. Very cool
